Thanksgiving Dinner Rolls

• 1/2 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
• 1/2 cup warm milk
• 1 egg
• 1/3 cup butter, softened
• 1/3 cup white sugar
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
• 1/4 cup butter, softened (spread on dough before baking)

Place all ingredients in your bread machine. Run dough cycle. When complete, remove. Divide dough into 12 balls. Place in muffins tins, or together in a pretty round casserole dish. Bake at 375 for about 15 min or until golden brown.

Using whole wheat flour, I usually use 1 3/4 cup and then add a little molasses or honey.
