Apple Pie Cake

This is one of our favorite recipes, given to me from my dear friend Sharon.

1/2 cup butter melted
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 cups apples, peeled and chopped (I used Gala)
carmel ice cream topping for drizzle

Preheat to 350. Grease a 9" pie plate. Mix butter, egg, vanilla and sugar. Add rest of ingredients. Spread into pie plate and bake about 35-40 min.
Drizzle with carmel ice cream topping. Serve warm with ice cream!
